Teaching, Learning, and AI: A Study about AI Tools in Language Learning and Teaching

 

Hello everyone again! This time, I had a task that I need to use AI tools. I made an interview with Atatürk by using Magic School AI's character Chatbot! It was such an amazing experience for me, I was able to communicate with Atatürk even though it was an artifical intelligence.

 At first, I was worried about what questions to ask but the AI helped me to create clear and meaningful interview questions. It was also very helpful when I needed feedback on my report. Thanks to the suggestions it provided, I was able to correct my sentences, add specific examples, and improve the quality of my report.

As a future teacher, I absolutely want to give my students this kind of tasks beacuse it provides a lot of benefits. Students can use AI to get ideas and feedback or ask questions about their topics. It also developes students' creativity by providing a very nice and creative opportunities like communicating with people who have done great things in the past, just as I have done in this assignment. These experiences can make learning more dynamic and personal. For these reasons, I believe Artificial Intelligense can be a powerful and effective tool in the classroom.

However, uncontrolled AI use can cause some problems. If students rely on it too much, they may stop thinking for themselves and simply copy the answers it provides without truly learning. This situation can also harm their creativity, and they may become dependent on AI tools, unable to complete tasks without its help.

In the end, this project showed me that Artificial Intelligence can be a great helper in learning and writing. It made the process easier and helped me improve my work. If we use it carefully, AI can support students and teachers in many positive ways.
