Solving More Than Puzzles: A Podcast about How to Improve World

 

Hi everyone! Last week, we were given a task about recording a podcast and we had three options to record. One of them was the individual and the rest was pair work and i chose the individual options which says that create an idea about how to improve our world like the podcast series on the BBC.

It was a very challenging task for me. At the beginning, I didn’t find any idea because I wanted funny ideas rather than serious ones, therefore, it took much time to find a satifying and cretaive one. Then, I found it when thinking about my hobbies but after the found the idea, real challanges started. I didn’t know anything about creating a podcast, how to record and upload it. However, As I made progress, the difficulties gradually became easier and solved.

In the future, if I work in a high school or university, maybe I can give assignments like podcast recording assignments because it helps to develop my students' language skills, imagination and technological skills. If my students are at a younger age, like elementary or middle school students, assignments like this can be much more challenging for them and these challenges can negatively affect them rather than improve them.
